About the Role

Join the Peloton Product Engineering team within our Connected Fitness organization and help build the core software powering the screens of our flagship hardware. In this role, you will develop the primary, member-facing application embedded on every Peloton Bike, Tread, and Row. This is your opportunity to shape the on-equipment software that delivers our best-in-class fitness experiences directly to millions of Members worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Build highly engaging, responsive, and scalable customer-facing features from concept to deployment
  • Guide, mentor, and elevate mid-level and junior engineers while optimizing team processes and modernizing engineering solutions
  • Partner closely with Product, UX, and Design teams to evaluate execution feasibility, manage cross-team dependencies, and translate vision into clean code
  • Independently tackle complex engineering tasks, leveraging AI-first coding tools (like Claude Code) and profiling UI, memory, and threading to ensure a flawless user experience

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of dedicated Android development, backed by a B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with continuous build integration in an Agile environment, active GitHub projects, or open-source contributions is highly preferred
  • Strong experience interacting with REST APIs, handling data processing, and evaluating complex engineering trade-offs
  • Proven ability to manage cross-team coordination, work independently on complex tasks, and turn product and design requirements into seamless, high-performance reality
