About the Role
The Lycée Français de Toronto is seeking a substitute high school teacher for Science, Math, Physics, and Chemistry. This role operates within the French National Education system and requires adherence to both French and Ontario regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time teaching services in Science, Math, Physics, and Chemistry for middle and high school, adhering to National Education curricula.
- Address student diversity and learning processes.
- Act as a responsible educator with ethical principles.
- Integrate digital technology by utilizing school resources.
- Collaborate within the disciplinary team and across grade levels and disciplines.
- Evaluate student progress and achievements.
- Engage in individual and collective professional development.
Requirements
- Possession of CAPES in the relevant subject, a Master's degree (Master II), or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a school or association setting, preferably in a bilingual environment.
- Knowledge of educational technology (TICE).
- Flexibility, creativity, dynamism, autonomy, and initiative.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to interact with diverse audiences.
- Capacity to represent the institution positively and professionally, aligning with its values.
