About the Role
As Associate Director, Client Services, you will lead teams to deliver industry-leading work by utilizing your knowledge of social-first strategy and output and building in-depth relationships with your clients. You'll work across both retainers and project work, collaborating with all specialist roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams to develop and execute client strategies and ensure account decisions are guided by them.
- Set up teams effectively to support the pursuit of a higher standard of work.
- Inspire account teams to produce Born Social’s best work in all areas of delivery.
- Own senior client relationship development, identifying and communicating the value of Born Social's work.
- Create, communicate, and deliver effective account plans including client insight, communication, and reporting to facilitate growth.
- Lead pitches, proposals, and scoping for additional work.
- Educate clients on Born’s development and thought leadership content, and industry updates.
- Communicate mid and long-term business and marketing plans with stakeholders beyond immediate Points of Contact and appointed agencies.
- Organize key calls, meetings, and Quarterly Reviews.
- Recognize and resolve delivery or client issues or lack of results.
- Review ways of working with Senior Account Managers to ensure positive delivery for clients and teams.
- Ensure accurate delivery of scope of work (deliverables and time) using time tracking.
- Ensure deliverables are of high quality and all deadlines are met.
- Recognize and resolve scope or resourcing issues.
- Lead on new resourcing requests and report on commercial performance monthly.
- Contribute to winning new business through pitches and proposals, leading on strategic direction.
- Develop Born Social’s industry profile in the US through talks, presentations, blogs, and webinars.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a Client Services role in an agency setting.
- Experience owning and driving the quality of output on an account.
- Good understanding of social-first delivery (strategy, creative, media, and management).
- Experience in the commercial running of account work.
- Proven track record of retaining, developing, and growing accounts.
- Passion for improving client experience and relationship development.
- Experience working with global brands, ideally in FMCG (preferred).
