About the Role

We're hiring a Design Engineer to help shape the future of music creation by bringing product experiences to life through both design and code. This is a highly collaborative role sitting at the intersection of Product Design and Engineering, focused on turning ideas into polished, interactive experiences that delight millions of users. You'll partner closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to prototype, build, and refine user-facing features across our web and mobile platforms. We care deeply about craft, speed, and experimentation, and we're looking for someone who is equally excited about designing interfaces as they are about implementing them.

Responsibilities

Take ideas end-to-end from conception to production, driving creation through collaboration in Figma, proof of concept, or code.
Balance proactive ownership and autonomy with a collaborative spirit, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
Maintain an incredibly high standard for quality and craft, focusing on details like pixel-perfection, microinteractions, and motion design.
Think in systems and patterns to help establish our design system for consistency and quality.
Experiment rapidly with AI-powered workflows and creative tools to push team capabilities.

Requirements

5+ years (Senior) or 7+ years (Staff) of experience designing and building exceptional consumer products.
Portfolio showcasing thoughtful design and shipped product experiences.
Mobile UI expertise with iOS frameworks like SwiftUI and UIKit.
A bias for action, thriving as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to learn and grow.
