About the Role

As a manager, you will lead a team of Business Immigration Analysts delivering high-quality, on-time immigration filings and client support for large and emerging companies. You’ll own day-to-day operations, coach and develop talent, drive process and technology improvements, and serve as a primary partner to attorneys and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workload, staffing, and priorities for a pod/squad of Analysts and Senior Associates.
  • Provide coaching, QA reviews, and career development plans; conduct performance check-ins.
  • Oversee and review sophisticated nonimmigrant and immigrant filings (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM, I-140, AOS/EAD/AP).
  • Resolve escalations, spot risks early, and coordinate with attorneys on strategy.
  • Act as day-to-day operational lead for assigned accounts; run status calls, SLAs, and reporting.
  • Translate business objectives into clear workplans; anticipate volume spikes and set filing calendars.
  • Implement standardized SOPs, checklists, and QA controls; ensure accuracy in your team’s work.
  • Identify bottlenecks and lead Lean/Six Sigma-style improvements to cycle time and first-pass yield.
  • Use dashboards to manage throughput, backlog, expiries, and compliance milestones.
  • Convert data into actionable recommendations for clients and internal leadership.
  • Champion use of case-management systems and automation tools; pilot new features and drive adoption.
  • Build and deliver training on US immigration processes, policy updates, and best practices.
  • Maintain and evolve playbooks, templates, and knowledge bases.
  • Tailor communications to executives, HR/TA partners, and employees; set expectations and timelines.
  • Participate in client meetings and present solutions with clarity and confidence.
  • Uphold firm policies and code of conduct; ensure audit-ready documentation and DOL/USCIS compliance.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years in U.S. employment-based immigration with progressive responsibility.
  • 2+ years leading or mentoring teams (formal people management preferred).
  • Deep working knowledge of high-volume NIV/IV processes including PERM and adjustment of status.
  • Strong drafting/review skills.
  • Proven ability to manage SLAs, capacity planning, and complex, deadline-driven workflows.
  • Executive-ready written and verbal communication.
  • Confident client facilitation.
  • Proficiency with immigration case-management systems and reporting tools.
  • Comfort driving automation adoption.
  • Process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) experience is a plus.
  • People leadership in a professional services environment is a plus.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise programs is a plus.
