About the Role
Join the team that changes the way the world experiences sport. The Sportradar Communications team builds visibility for the company and its businesses across key geographies and customers. This critical position requires managing media access, ensuring message consistency, and understanding business at both macro and micro levels.
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute effective communications strategies for the North American market.
- Work with North American colleagues and stakeholders to unearth engaging stories.
- Strengthen existing and foster new media relationships in North America.
- Become ingrained in the sectors and products in which Sportradar specializes.
- Ensure strong communications protocols are in place for media and executive speaking opportunities.
- Prepare press releases, briefing documents, key messages, and presentation slides.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 7-10 years' relevant communications experience in technology, sports tech, or sports business industry, with deep experience in B2B.
- At least 5 years experience managing teams.
- Fluent in English.
- Crisp writer and editor with strong attention to detail.
- Well-developed stakeholder management skills.
- Strong appetite to learn and research new industries, innovations, and developments.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong work ethic.
- Experience managing PR Agencies.
