About the Role

DAZN is transforming sports streaming, and as a Data Center Engineer in the Technology Operations team, you will maintain and evolve the infrastructure powering our global services. This role involves working across private cloud, data centers, and multiple cloud providers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. You'll contribute to infrastructure projects, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and operational improvements in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain server, storage, networking, and cabling infrastructure.
Perform preventative maintenance and hardware repairs across data center environments.
Manage data center assets, capacity, and utilization through DCIM tools.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, connectivity, storage, power, and cooling issues.
Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
Monitor infrastructure capacity and forecast future requirements.
Ensure compliance with security standards, operational procedures, and data center regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation, configuration records, and incident reports.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Data Center Engineer or similar infrastructure role.
Strong experience with physical server infrastructure, storage systems, networking technologies, and cabling.
Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, TCP/IP networking, power, cooling, Linux, and Windows environments.
Experience supporting data center operations, processes, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to document and explain technical concepts clearly.
