About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer leads the design and development of high-complexity components and services within the organization's Microsoft-centric application ecosystem. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions while modernizing legacy systems and optimizing integrations to support reliable communication across internal and third-party platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-complexity components and services.
- Refine CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Improve automated testing practices and strengthen monitoring and alerting frameworks.
- Modernize legacy systems within the Microsoft stack.
- Implement and optimize integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, quality engineering, and infrastructure teams.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to professional and technical staff.
- Serve as a technical expert to resolve complex problems and develop strategic plans.
- Design system architecture, network infrastructure, and database environments.
- Oversee the administration of large and highly complex databases.
- Maintain internal controls and network security systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent academic achievement.
- Minimum of three years of journey-level professional information technology experience.
- Strong understanding of enterprise justice or case-management platforms, preferably Tyler Odyssey.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft development ecosystem.
- Ability to communicate technical information to a wide variety of users.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify and resolve system performance and security issues.
