About the Role
Project Managers on the Directed Content Team are responsible for defining research scope and angles, guiding Analysts' work, and ensuring the productivity and quality of their team's output. They understand expert profiles relevant to client interests by leveraging various data sources and coaching Analysts on sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain an understanding of investable topics, themes, and trends within assigned industry verticals.
- Create new research projects based on Sector Lead guidance and platform demand, informed by industry understanding.
- Populate project angles and expert vetting questions, considering sector dynamics and client interest.
- Vet and QA expert profiles sourced by Analysts, providing feedback on relevance and documentation.
- Run daily pod huddles to evaluate project statuses and progress toward goals.
- Monitor scheduling, compliance, expert rates, and call numbers for each project.
- Manage load-balancing across the pod, assigning projects to analysts based on capacity.
- Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of relevant expertise for topics and targets within the sector of coverage.
- Monitor Client Contributor feedback and incorporate it into project work and Analyst coaching.
- Coach Analysts, providing guidance and feedback on project work.
- Meet regularly with Directors of Research, Sector Leads, and Client Contributors to understand sector trends and client research interests.
- Partner closely with Contributor Relations Managers on two-way feedback for optimal matching of expert profiles with call takers.
- Support the hiring and onboarding of new Analysts.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of sector knowledge resources for Analyst onboarding and sourcing.
