About the Role

This role offers an opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic consultancy business and support the expansion of its Commercial and Strategy / Business Case offer. You will contribute to client engagement, project delivery, and capability development within a flat-structured team where collaboration and shared responsibility are key. The position involves managing diverse projects, supporting business development, and mentoring others, while working on significant international projects for major global clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the expansion of our Commercial and Strategy / Business Case offer.
  • Support client engagement, project delivery and development of our capability.
  • Manage a diverse range of projects and workstreams.
  • Support the delivery of The Hub’s overall business plan to deliver growth in line with our strategy through bidding and business development.
  • Take on mentoring roles and help others develop their skills.
  • Work on internationally significant projects for major global clients.

Requirements

  • 5 years+ experience in the transport sector.
  • Experience in transport commercial, or strategy, business case or business planning roles.
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality work in a range of relevant projects.
  • Ability to problem solve, present outputs effectively and apply best practice techniques consistently.
  • Understand how to work with transport clients to understand their perspective and achieve their desired outcomes.
  • An effective communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into commercial solutions.
  • Able to support the development of The Hub’s offer to target growth markets by demonstrating strong industry knowledge.
  • Relevant experience of project management / workstream leadership.
  • Relevant experience of contributing towards business development activity, including bidding.
