About the Role
General Medicine is building and scaling a healthcare store that simplifies shopping for various types of care, offering upfront cash and insurance prices for virtual and in-person visits, prescriptions, labs, and imaging.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale a healthcare store.
- Obsess over every detail of the patient experience.
- Tackle complex operational challenges of delivering care at scale.
- Write product requirements documents.
- Write SQL to understand feature performance.
- Own QA.
- Operate in an environment of significant ambiguity.
- Work closely with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders.
- Dig into the complexities of the American healthcare system, including integrating with EHRs and revenue cycle management.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building web apps as a full-stack engineer.
- Proficiency in a modern tech stack, including infra tooling and programming languages.
- Experience with AWS, Ruby on Rails, and NextJS is a plus.
