About the Role
Responsible for ensuring assigned buildings are always clean, presentable, and inviting. This includes maintaining common areas, washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down glass and other surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining common rooms, kitchens, and washrooms
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning windows and keeping blinds dust-free
- Taking out and properly disposing of garbage
- Maintaining all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- Monitoring and reporting any repairs or required replacements
Requirements
- Ability to pass a Canadian Background Check
Skills
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
- WHMIS Certification is an asset
- Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to 50lbs)
