About the Role
The Parts Specialist will provide retail and installer customers with a high level of service and support store management in accomplishing assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Follow and promote all company customer service programs.
- Greet retail/walk-in customers promptly and assist with merchandise selection.
- Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers.
- Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
- Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls according to company policy, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.
- Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer, process transactions, and make change.
- Process exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints.
- Assist with daily operational tasks including freight receival, stocking shelves, and cleaning.
- Prepare new, core, and warranty merchandise returns for shipment.
- Assist with monthly stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts.
- Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
- Perform various in-store services for customers where allowed by law.
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store simultaneously.
- Driving record must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
