About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Release Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end delivery and release execution for Regulated Messaging platforms, supporting critical services for regulated users. This role involves coordinating complex deliveries across multiple teams, ensuring solutions meet SDLC standards, enterprise controls, and regulatory expectations while maintaining predictability and quality. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and vendors to ensure releases are well-governed, compliant, and production-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery through strategic decision-making and resolving coordination issues across products to meet deliverables.
  • Identify and drive strategies for product planning, dependency coordination, and delivery performance improvement.
  • Coordinate planning, sequencing, and execution across multiple teams.
  • Maintain release plans, milestones, and delivery artifacts.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies with clear mitigation and escalation plans.
  • Collaborate with and influence Product Managers, Technology Managers, Business Service Leaders, and control partners.
  • Align backlog readiness and delivery sequencing.
  • Support audit- and regulator-ready outcomes.
  • Prepare and present delivery status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle and Change Management policies.
  • Drive release readiness to meet SDLC, ECM, security, non-functional, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a coach for Agile and Product ways of working, fostering talent development and continuous improvement.
  • Support post-release review and lessons learned.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to meet commitments and align with strategic Technology Delivery objectives.

Requirements

  • Digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education.

Skills

  • Experience delivering or supporting regulated communications platforms, including archive, surveillance, retention, or voice recording.
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC, release management, and technology risk controls.
  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks impacting electronic communications (e.g., FCA, PRA, MiFID II, SEC 17a‑4).
  • Experience managing vendor-delivered technology or platform implementations.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with experience managing delivery risks and dependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing delivery updates and governance materials.
