About the Role

This role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to customers, including loading, unloading, and providing exceptional customer service. The position emphasizes upholding the highest safety standards in propane handling and conducting regular vehicle inspections. This is a 6-month seasonal position to support increased demand.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology to monitor and track propane inventory, tank levels, and container sizing.
• Accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers.
• Accurately complete and submit daily driver reports.
• Maintain equipment to the highest safety standards.
• Report any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
• Conduct and document pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling information.
• Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues immediately.
• Work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred
• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Current DOT medical certification
• Ability to work overtime and on call
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.
• Will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
