About the Role

Liberis is building the embedded finance platform that lets partners around the world offer innovative funding products to their small business customers. We're a growth-stage fintech with teams in London, Nottingham, Atlanta, Stockholm, Munich and Mumbai, and we’re building a global Product, Data & Engineering team that thrives on autonomy, ownership, and is focused on impact! Our teams solve real-world problems for small businesses, shaping products that unlock opportunity at scale. As a Senior Engineer, you will be a key mentor to other members of the Engineering team, supporting us to continually develop and push the boundaries of what a scaling, multi-product FinTech organisation can achieve.

Responsibilities

Mentor other members of the Engineering team.
Support the team to continually develop and push boundaries.
Solve real-world problems for small businesses.
Shape products that unlock opportunity at scale.
Make decisions, move fast, and take full responsibility for solutions.
Participate in an 'on-call' rotation.

Requirements

Proven success writing code in two or more programming languages.
Proven experience developing APIs and services.
An understanding of working with Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming, Kanban, or Scrum.
Experience mentoring more junior team members.
Resilience in early-stage business situations where requirements are evolving and experimentation is required.
