About the Role

As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Chef de Partie in the daily management of a kitchen section, contributing to the preparation and delivery of high quality food across multiple outlets. You will play an active role in guiding Commis Chefs, maintaining standards, and supporting service while continuing to develop your own skills and confidence. This role offers exposure to varied service styles and a strong platform for progression.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chef de Partie in the supervision of a kitchen section, ensuring food preparation and presentation meet Four Seasons standards
  • Assist with training, guiding, and supporting Commis Chefs to encourage learning and consistency
  • Contribute to menu development through ideas, testing, and refinement
  • Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in line with food safety requirements
  • Follow and uphold HACCP, COSHH, and health and safety procedures
  • Support stock rotation, ordering processes, and basic inventory control
  • Work closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth and efficient service periods

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a hotel or quality restaurant operation
  • Strong grounding in fresh food preparation and kitchen fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, HACCP, and COSHH
  • Right to Work in the UK

Salary/Compensations

  • £36,000 package which includes hotel service charge, and salary
  • £38,000 annual package inclusive of salary and hotel service charge
