About the Role
CESO is seeking a Senior Designer to lead design and documentation efforts for architectural building projects. This role involves coordinating complex engineering systems and mentoring junior designers, contributing to CESO's mission of empowering people to impact communities by bringing clients' visions to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production of detailed scaled plans and supporting documentation for building construction projects using preliminary concepts and design guidelines.
- Create and lead the design and preparation of 2D and 3D detailed construction drawings using CAD and/or BIM software.
- Review projects to implement constructability and code requirements.
- Coordinate building construction projects with sub-consultants and provide feedback on company and client drawing standards.
- Assist Team Leads and/or Project Managers in Quality Assurance reviews by performing redline mark-ups.
- Self-check redline completion, highlight completed redlines, and review drawings before returning completed work.
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet project deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related fields.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Registered Architect (RA) licensure is preferred.
- Computer skills for daily timesheet data entry and Microsoft Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient knowledge and use of Revit, and/or AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to travel.
