About the Role

As the sole finance person in the company, you will own the integrity of the numbers across all five operating entities, keep the cash forecast tight, turn numbers into better decisions, and act as a commercial partner to the Country GMs. You will forecast and protect the cash, working closely with the General Manager Germany / DACH.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely monthly close and consolidation across NO, NL, DE, UK and SE, including group- and country-level P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Prepare management reporting and provide business partnering for property- and country-level P&L, margins, labour ratios, and KPIs, translating data into actionable insights with Country GMs.
• Manage rolling 13-week and 12-month cash forecasts, intercompany cash coordination, and early flagging of liquidity risk across the group.
• Oversee AR ageing, DSO, escalation routines, and ensure follow-through on overdue accounts to support the cash forecast.
• Lead annual budget and rolling forecasts in collaboration with Country GMs, ensuring ownership and currency throughout the year.
• Provide commercial insight to the CEO and GMs by analyzing gross margin, cost-per-room, and unit economics to identify profit drivers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Establish and maintain controls and policies, including approval matrices, accounting policies (local GAAP / IFRS), intercompany discipline, and audit trails.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors in each market, review filings, and ensure statutory filings are on track.
• Work within and improve the existing finance stack, focusing on essential reporting without unnecessary process.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of finance experience with multi-entity and consolidation experience.
• Hands-on cash flow forecasting and working capital management experience.
• Qualified or finalist-level accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or strong practical equivalent).
• Ability to quickly spot anomalies, chase them down, and draw conclusions.
• Strong technical accounting skills (local GAAP / IFRS where relevant).
• Advanced Excel and finance systems experience (ERP / Tripletex / Fathom or similar).
• Ability to translate complex finance topics into clear statements for non-finance stakeholders.
• Fluent business German for German statutory and advisor work.
• English as the group working language.
