About the Role
School Space partners with schools to rent out their facilities to the community. This role is for a part-time Community Connector who will open and close schools, ensure customers receive great service, and provide assistance during bookings. This role is crucial for supporting schools facing funding cuts and building stronger community connections.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing an assigned school/s in the evenings and weekends, acting as a key holder and remaining onsite throughout customer bookings.
- Carrying out necessary checks and light cleaning/tidying after bookings.
- Setting up and clearing away of tables and chairs for various events and requirements.
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating school updates to the operations team.
Requirements
- Must be able to work Sundays every week.
- Must be able to work shifts between 4:30pm and 10:30pm Monday - Friday.
- Must be able to work shifts between 7:45am and 22:30 on Saturdays or Sundays (max 8 hours per shift).
- Employment is dependent on a clear enhanced DBS check.
