About the Role
Corpay is a global technology organization leading the future of commercial payments. We are seeking an experienced HR professional to serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business strategy and growth plans for India. This role involves driving talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and HR operations to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights and guidance on workforce planning, structure, talent, and organizational health.
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business strategy and growth plans for India.
- Use data, analytics, and market insights to influence decision making and improve talent outcomes.
- Lead annual performance cycles, goal setting, succession planning, and talent reviews.
- Facilitate leadership discussions to identify high potential talent and critical skill gaps.
- Partner with L&D to design targeted capability building programs for managers and emerging leaders.
- Drive a positive and inclusive work culture by enabling strong manager capability, employee engagement, and open communication.
- Address complex employee relations issues with sensitivity, objectivity, and risk mitigation.
- Lead interventions that strengthen morale, retention, workplace trust, and organizational values.
- Provide expertise on org design, change management, role clarity, workforce planning, and restructuring.
- Support leaders through business transformations, ensuring teams are aligned, engaged, and equipped for success.
- Partner with COEs (Comp & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, L&D, HR Ops) to implement scalable HR programs.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, employee processes, and compliance with India labour laws.
- Provide guidance on compensation decisions, promotion cases, and internal mobility.
- Collaborate with HR Operations for seamless onboarding, transfers, and employee lifecycle management.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 7 years in an HR Business Partnering role supporting senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of Indian labour laws, HR best practices, and current market trends.
- Demonstrated experience managing change, driving culture, and influencing leaders.
- Ability to build credibility, manage ambiguity, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills.
