About the Role
Provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to young learners, helping them grow and develop in foundational math, reading, and writing. Create individualized learning plans that align with classroom curricula and the student's learning style.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions with elementary school-age students in the greater Bethesda, Rockville, or Silver Spring areas.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans.
- Communicate progress and goals with parents.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements
- Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students.
- Strong knowledge of elementary subjects, particularly ELA and numeracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
