About the Role
This 2-year fixed term Compliance Officer (AML) role supports an exciting business project, offering practical experience in AML and financial crime. You will contribute to daily AML activities and provide hands-on support as the business evolves.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily AML and financial crime activities, including transaction monitoring and watchlist reviews.
- Investigate and support the management of AML, sanctions, PEP and financial crime escalations.
- Assist with customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring and regulatory reporting.
- Support compliance monitoring activities, audits and project-related work.
- Provide clear, practical compliance support to stakeholders across the business.
Requirements
- Experience in AML, compliance or financial crime within financial services or a regulated environment.
- A working understanding of AML/CTF obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage routine tasks alongside project work.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
- A relevant qualification in financial services, compliance, risk or a related field.
