About the Role
The Operations & Distribution Manager will be responsible for building a strong supply chain foundation and leading a high-performing team. This role involves optimizing end-to-end logistics and supply chain flows, implementing new capabilities, and representing Operations & Distribution in cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities
- Proactively seek operational excellence to provide a high level of service concerning import/export, order management, and Indirect items management.
- Manage and optimize end-to-end logistics and supply chain flows, including in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (local and HQ).
- Implement new logistics capabilities and supply chain solutions aligned with business strategy.
- Actively participate in and represent the Operations & Distribution in cross-functional projects.
- Build, lead, and develop a strong, resilient, and high-performing team, cultivating a collaborative and positive team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain, order management, import/export, indirect items management, and/or relevant fields.
- Excellent planning and analytical skills.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and overall computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills in both English and Japanese.
