About the Role
We are looking for an experienced RSU Project Engineer to lead the growth of ZD. Since 2012, we have maintained collaborations with the largest automotive groups in Germany and China, building unique expertise in the development and service sector of testing. Our vision is to make R&D more reliable and efficient – with YOU!
Responsibilities
- Flashing development and production software onto i3 RSU hardware for verification or production delivery.
- Collecting and documenting production problems from MB plants, the deployment workshop, and supplier plants in Europe and other countries.
- Initial error analysis and debugging on-site in MB plants (Europe and international), especially for PIV and EOL issues.
- Creating defect tickets and actively driving troubleshooting in production and after-sales.
- Acting as the interface between production and R&D teams, facilitating active communication for rapid problem-solving.
- Delivering and transporting i3 RSU sample parts between plants and MB vehicle lines for production milestones.
Requirements
- Technical degree (Electrical/Automotive Engineering/Computer Science).
- Experience in infotainment and vehicle diagnostics.
- Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes in the automotive industry.
- Experience in error management and debugging.
- Proficient use of diagnostic tools.
- Willingness to travel to work on-site in MB plants in Europe and internationally.
- Fluent German and English language skills; Chinese is an advantage.
- Experience with PIV and EOL processes (Nice to have).
- Knowledge of ECU flash and update processes (Nice to have).
- Experience with automotive after-sales processes (Nice to have).
