About the Role

Project Managers are responsible for the success of assigned projects, working closely with Project Owners and Teams. They will initiate, plan, and oversee project execution using established Project Management processes, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and consistency across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and host necessary meetings with the Project Owner and Project Team.
  • Ensure the Project Team focuses on prioritized project tasks and meets deadlines.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Create and maintain updated project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Provide clear objectives, meeting agendas, and quality meeting notes with follow-up action items.
  • Promote team engagement and build strong working relationships within the project team.
  • Keep the team on track and moving projects forward.
  • Work with the Project Owner to find alternative solutions for arising issues.
  • Maintain a clear understanding and knowledge of the projects being led.
  • Utilize all available resources and tools for documentation, communication, and reporting.

Requirements

  • College diploma, University Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP certification or equivalent certification required, or actively working towards PMP or other PM certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects using project management best practices.
  • Excellent understanding of the project management lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of both Agile and Traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Ability to use a hybrid approach to fit the project and business environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Project and Portfolio Management Software and tools.
