About the Role
Planet is seeking a Senior Manager, Cross-Functional Creative Team, to lead its EMEA-based Creative Studio. This role involves bridging global marketing strategies with regional execution, owning the creative lifecycle for AI-driven Earth observation, and focusing on pipeline generation and supporting field marketing and sales teams. The position requires acting as a brand steward, managing the production of localized multi-channel content, and ensuring brand consistency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the EMEA Creative Studio to translate global marketing strategies into compelling visual narratives for regional audiences and verticals.
- Collaborate with EMEA Field Marketing Directors, Specialist teams, and Channel partners to support localized growth campaigns and co-marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and scale Planet’s visual language, ensuring regional assets align with global brand standards.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and regional Sales teams to provide localized collateral, messaging, and ABM assets.
- Direct external regional contractors and translation/localization agencies.
- Refine and optimize creative workflows to improve speed-to-market for regional field demands.
- Lead the conceptualization of high-profile regional visual projects, including digital campaigns, trade shows, hosted dinners, and executive briefings.
- Own the evolution and adaptation of Planet’s Brand Guidelines for EMEA, translating global messaging for local market nuances and developing empowering templates.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of external design partners, providing creative direction and QA.
- Act as a creative consultant to Regional Product Marketing, Communications, and Field teams.
- Optimize creative throughput using AI-driven design tools (Gemini, Figma) and project management platforms (Jira/Monday.com).
- Present design solutions to senior regional leadership and executives that solve business problems and impact pipeline metrics.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant design experience, ideally embedded within or supporting a B2B field marketing or regional marketing organization.
- 4+ years of experience managing a creative team.
- Excellent project, time, and budget management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple fast-moving field marketing requests simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation skills and experience collaborating with regional stakeholders and executives.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a high-growth, commercial company.
- Experience working with enterprise software and AI-driven design platforms.
