About the Role

As the Head of QE, you will lead a diverse, cross-functional team to drive excellence across our testing lifecycle and product portfolio. You will act as a strategic technical partner and subject matter expert, collaborating across regions, tribes and programs to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, resilience, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation of test strategies and detailed schedules for complex, multi-technology program implementations while monitoring all the quality metrics to eliminate defect leakage and re-occurrence.
  • Establish, Deploy and Govern the automation test strategies and designs per program for compliance, completeness and coverage, making firm commitments with stakeholders on automation levels.
  • Define key metrics to benchmark QE effectiveness and conduct audits ensuring all programs align to the standards, thereby meeting product SLAs and SLOs.
  • Partner with Product Management, Architects, Application Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering leads to verify solution deployment approaches, including hardware requirements and cut-over strategies.
  • Act as a thought leader for the product portfolio across all Tribes, managing technical resource allocation and navigating product trade-offs to ensure successful launches.
  • Work closely with Product, Business and Technology leaders to track and determine the prioritization of defect fixes and quality improvements for all complex cross tribe programs.
  • Drive team performance through coaching and professional development, identifying talent requirements to build a high-performing, diverse QE discipline.
  • Validate that all processes conform to standards and ensure thorough documentation of project highlights and steady-state processes.
  • Represent QE practices in customer conversations and perform technical reviews of proposals for new products and clients.
  • Act as an AI-enabler by integrating intelligent automation and emerging technologies into the software development methodology.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Engineering with at least 5 years leading diverse, cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong domain experience within the Financial Services industry, with a deep understanding of industry-specific compliance and standards.
  • Proven track record of managing QE for complex program implementations involving multiple technologies and global stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency in performance and resilience testing, with the ability to analyze network architecture to create robust test plans.
  • Experience in headcount planning and talent acquisition, with a measurable history of developing internal talent and recruiting external experts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical risks and defect trends to the CTO and executive stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade automation tools and procuring suites essential for the full testing lifecycle.
