About the Role

CHANEL Japan Fragrance & Beauty Products Division seeks to enhance the client experience through events, aiming to attract new customers and foster long-term engagement. This role involves strategically planning and executing events to increase brand saliency and provide a unique Chanel experience within a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
  • Negotiate and collaborate with global teams to enhance event success.
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement actions to increase brand saliency by collaborating with PR, corporate team, Global Social Media, Media, and Artistic direction teams.
  • Optimize the customer journey within the event and implement necessary digital solutions.
  • Coordinate all operations.
  • Lead promotional activities for the event.
  • Supervise all staff, including event coordinators, staff, and caterers.
  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event.
  • Ensure events are completed smoothly and resolve any occurring problems.
  • Analyze event success and prepare reports.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the brand and desired customer image.
  • Ability to deliver brand image to a wide customer base.
  • Comprehensive management of all events, including brand pop-up, department store, off-site, and VIP events.
  • Close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Education, Studio, and PR teams.
  • Essential support from the Media & Communication team.
  • Close collaboration with the Purchasing Department.
  • Building beneficial internal and external networks for smooth operations.
  • Collaboration with vendors outside the company is a major key to success.
