About the Role
The Busser will be responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience throughout Sartianos.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant before guests are seated
- Set tables with necessary napkins, linens and glassware
- Polish glassware and silverware
- Restock utensils, napkin glassware and other dining room needs
- Communicate with server
- Remove dirty glassware, flat-ware and plate-ware when needed
- Clean and reset tables
- Maintain health and safety standards in back of house and dining areas
- Inform management and waitstaff about guests’ feedback or requests
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
Requirements
- Must have a minimum 1-year experience
- Passion for food and beverage operations
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
- Must be well groomed and adhere to the Sartianos uniform requirements
- Flexible schedule based on the needs of Sartianos, their programming, and peak times
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell
- Frequently required to walk
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
