About the Role
Become a substitute teacher in Austin, TX and create powerful moments that shift students’ perception of what’s possible. You’ll earn up to $200/day paid weekly and have the flexibility to set your own schedule. Kokua places positive role models in classrooms who spark a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Manage a classroom of students
- Step in where needed, including lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season
Requirements
- At least 1 year working with kids in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
- Completed 48+ college credit hours
- Pass state & federal background checks
