About the Role

The BCG First Nations and Indigenous Internship & Scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding talent and provide tools for personal and professional growth. It is open to undergraduate or post-graduate students in their penultimate year of study at a registered university. Recipients will receive scholarship funding, join an office as an intern, learn about BCG's work, be assigned a mentor and buddy, gain real-world experience, build relationships, and have a pathway to a full-time graduate role.

Responsibilities

Join one of our offices as an intern for 8 weeks
Learn about the work we do and explore how you can make a difference with our clients, colleagues, and communities
Be assigned a mentor through the remainder of your studies, as well as a buddy who will support you during your internship
Gain real-world experience before you graduate
Build strong relationships and connect with peers through different activities
Work alongside some of the world’s top minds on cases that reshape business, government, and society
Collaborate on challenging projects with team members from many backgrounds and disciplines
Increase your understanding of complex business problems from diverse perspectives
Develop new skills and experience to help you at every stage of your career

Requirements

Be in your penultimate (second last) year of undergraduate studies
If studying at The University of Melbourne, be in your first year of master’s studies
Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency
Be of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islands, Māori or Pacific Island origin
Submit your CV, cover letter, and academic transcripts (preferably in one pdf document)
Include information in your cover letter and CV about things you're passionate about and why BCG is a great career fit for you
Specify which BCG Scholarship you are applying for and why you are interested in being considered in your cover letter
Showcase a strong career trajectory and a high level of impact in roles held (including retail, hospitality, or internships)
Demonstrate impact and legacy, significant contribution, and high levels of commitment, initiative, and responsibility in extra-curricular activities
Provide details about academic credentials
