About the Role
Join the Finance team and take on operational responsibilities within the Contract Team, focusing on the creation, review, and management of service agreements and related documentation. You will also actively contribute to improving processes to enhance the quality and efficiency of the entire Contract Team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire operation of creating, reviewing, negotiating, and supporting the execution of contracts for clients across various industries.
- Review and advise on internal regulations and policies related to various projects, and escalate as needed.
- Operate and manage contracts using a global system.
- Handle other legal-related tasks.
Requirements
- University degree or higher.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in legal affairs at a Japanese or foreign-affiliated company.
- Basic knowledge of contracts (especially service agreements, IT/digital technology contracts), with skills in review and negotiation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of contract practice.
- Basic knowledge of domestic and international transactions.
- English proficiency (TOEIC score of 750 or equivalent is a guideline).
- Communication skills to smoothly conduct business with the business side and relevant internal departments.
- Ability to flexibly respond and adapt to ambiguous situations and environmental changes, with a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility and creativity to simplify complex problems and present practical solutions.
- Proactiveness and execution ability to identify issues independently and work on process improvement and efficiency.
- Ability to understand BCG's business, corporate culture, and growth strategy, and apply it to one's own and the team's roles.
- Understanding of our company's diversity as a global corporation and the concept of respecting different cultures.
