About the Role

BCG X is a group of technology and digital and design experts from the global strategy consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, responsible for business and product building using technology and data. We combine the knowledge of strategy consulting with advanced expertise in AI, software engineering, product development, and UX design to support client transformation from conception to implementation and scaling.

Responsibilities

As a data science expert, address important management challenges faced by clients in various industries, and support significant corporate transformation and growth by designing and building advanced models using data analysis, machine learning, and mathematical optimization.
Utilize specialized knowledge in the digital domain to work directly with clients alongside strategy consultants, and solve their management challenges using business, analytics, and IT skills.
Analyze client-owned data and external data using knowledge of data analysis infrastructure and large-scale data processing to determine measures for problem-solving.

Requirements

This position is for experienced professionals; those without work experience should apply for the new graduate data scientist position.
Master's degree in a related field or practical experience in data analytics.
Python coding skills.
Experience with analysis using machine learning.
English proficiency (conversational level or higher).

Experience with mathematical optimization, operations research, etc.
Experience in R&D at high-tech companies or manufacturers.
Experience with natural language processing, image recognition, speech recognition, etc.
Experience with marketing analytics, BI, DWH, etc.
Experience with software development and DevOps.
Ability to manage project progress and team management.
Ability to build new analytics services.
Ability to build good relationships with clients and become a 'Thought Leader'.
Business-level English proficiency.
