About the Role

We are a luxury, women's intimate portrait studio in East London, dedicated to helping everyday women transform their self-perception through powerful portrait experiences and lasting artwork. We have guided over 1,900 women on this journey, often resulting in significant confidence shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high work ethic, including long days and regular weekends.
  • Direct and pose clients with calm, grounded leadership to ensure they feel safe, supported, and genuinely seen.
  • Ensure sets, wardrobe, gear, and the studio floor are immaculate during each shift.
  • Log clear notes after each guest session to facilitate downstream team efforts.
  • Actively participate in training, implement feedback, attend gallery reviews, and develop craft weekly.
  • Be a collaborative team player who elevates those around you.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in studio photography or weddings, preferably in intimate, boudoir, or luxury portrait environments.
  • Proficiency in directing and posing non-models with empathy and emotional presence.
  • Strong technical skills in exposure, focus, composition, and studio lighting.
  • Excellent time management to conduct emotionally intense, back-to-back sessions without rushing clients.
  • Willingness to learn and follow a proven process before suggesting modifications.

Salary/Compensations

  • £36,000 base (Junior Photographer)
  • £40,000–£48,000 OTE (Core Photographer, Year 1)
  • £45,000–£60,000 OTE (Senior/Lead Photographer)
