About the Role
As a Customer Reliability Engineer (CRE), you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices to the Isovalent software suite. This role involves understanding customer architectures, configurations, and providing world-class support and issue resolution for incidents, while enhancing our understanding of customer health. The role requires working within the Pacific Time Zone business hours.
Responsibilities
- Adapt SRE best practices for customers.
- Apply SRE practices to Isovalent software suite running on-premises and in major cloud providers on Kubernetes.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer architectures and configurations.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to provide support and resolve issues.
- Enhance the organization's view into customer health.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of related experience, Master’s degree + 6 years of related experience, or PhD + 3 years of related experience.
- 6+ years of direct experience supporting and engaging with enterprise customers in a technical capacity.
- 3+ years of experience operating Linux systems.
- 2+ years of experience managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters or similar technologies in production environments.
- 2+ years of experience with Terraform for deployment of cloud infrastructure.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to work on US Government classified environments.
- Must be able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must be able to work during business hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, in the Pacific Time Zone.

Salary/Compensations
- $158,200.00 - $200,700.00 (US/Canada, base)
- $158,200.00 - $241,700.00 (New York City Metro Area)
- $140,600.00 - $241,800.00 (Non-Metro New York state & Washington state)
