About the Role
This role involves managing key HR initiatives and partnering with senior leaders in Emerson's Test & Measurement Product R&D organization, with additional support for select General & Administrative functions. The position focuses on driving organizational effectiveness, strengthening talent outcomes, and enhancing employee engagement across a globally distributed engineering and corporate portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Drive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with PR&D and G&A organizational and business-unit objectives.
- Manage responsibilities autonomously while maintaining high standards and adapting approaches as needed.
- Execute annual compensation processes, including salary planning, bonus, and RSU, in partnership with Total Rewards.
- Provide strategic HR guidance, thought partnership, coaching, and data-informed recommendations to VP-level leaders.
- Build strong networks across teams, functions, and geographies to deliver results efficiently across a portfolio spanning 10+ countries.
- Align and execute global strategies consistently with Geographic HRBPs, HR COEs, and HRGO.
- Provide analytical insights to support function-specific people and culture strategies.
- Help senior leaders navigate organizational dynamics, including org design, spans & layers, role clarity, and team structures.
- Leverage HR analytics to diagnose organizational health, identify retention risks, and shape workforce strategy.
- Lead core talent management processes, including succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, introduce new tools or approaches, and accelerate talent outcomes.
- Drive adoption of enterprise programs within supported functions.
- Drive engagement initiatives to promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Communicate with clarity and credibility, coaching leaders to elevate collaboration and organizational effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters and ensure legal compliance.
- Guide leaders and teams through organizational transitions, restructures, integration activities, and change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Relevant progressive HR experience, including demonstrated success supporting senior leaders.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws across multiple jurisdictions and countries.
- Deep expertise in talent management, organizational design, employee engagement, and change management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated executive presence.
- Ability to execute with discipline and operate with strategic focus across a complex, globally distributed portfolio.
- Proven analytical capability to transform data into actionable insights that shape enterprise-level strategy.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
