About the Role
Get paid to laugh, enjoy the outdoors and inspire kids to believe in themselves by teaching them about biking. This role involves teaching a group of campers and assisting with operational responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Teach their own group of 5-6 campers.
- Assist the Camp Manager with operational responsibilities.
- Help Level 1 campers get off training wheels and assist all children to meet biking goals.
- Lead daily morning and afternoon camp-wide ice breaker games.
- Engage customers and provide excellent service to parents through consistent check-ins.
- Manage equipment and supplies for their site.
- Lead the daily morning and afternoon set-up of camp equipment.
- Ensure the quality and appearance of their camp remains high throughout the day.
Requirements
- Hold or willing to get a current first aid certificate.
- Have access to a bike and helmet.
- Able to ride a bike proficiently.
Skills
- Coaching or instructing experience with children of all ages
- Highly organized
- Detail-oriented
- Enthusiastic
- Takes pride in the quality of their work and the programming provided at their camp
