About the Role
The DT Lead CRM & Commercial Solutions Japan is responsible for the Global Standard CRM Platform within the Japan organization, ensuring its adoption, optimization, and value realization. This role defines and executes the Japan strategy, roadmap, and operational model for CRM and related commercial technologies, ensuring global design principles and governance are applied. It acts as a liaison between global platform strategy and local business needs, ensuring the platform delivers maximum business impact in Japan through fit-for-purpose configuration and localized support. The DT Lead will be instrumental in Japan’s transition to the next-generation CRM platform, requiring strong program leadership, change management, and global-local alignment.
Responsibilities
- Act as Japan’s local owner of the Global Standard CRM Platform and Japan local commercial solutions, ensuring successful deployment, localization, and business value realization while maintaining alignment with global governance, architecture, and design standards.
- Lead the nationwide transition to the new CRM solution, managing a multi-year, complex transformation involving global programs, business stakeholders, change management, data migration, and technology integration.
- Partner closely with business units and cross-functional teams to deploy CRM and commercial solutions that support Japan-specific needs while adhering to global templates and standardized processes.
- Collaborate intensively with Global DT/IT teams to co-design capabilities, resolve platform gaps, ensure consistent implementation, and secure effective transition into global support models.
- Manage third-party vendors and implementation partners, coordinating development, configuration, and rollout activities, and ensuring deliverables are of high quality and aligned with platform strategy.
- Provide strategic direction and prioritize solution enhancements, ensuring a balanced approach between global product roadmap, local regulatory requirements, and Japan business priorities.
- Lead end-to-end project and program management, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, and in accordance with quality and compliance expectations.
- Translate business requirements into platform-aligned architecture specifications, defining processes, integrations, and data flows that meet Japan needs while maintaining global consistency.
- Create and maintain architecture artifacts that clarify end-to-end solution design, including integration maps, domain models, and reference architectures.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and governance standards, embedding controls in PMO processes, SDLC, change management, and procurement to sustain long-term platform integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or above
- 5+ years of experience in CRM, commercial and project management.
- 3+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry
