About the Role

As a Financial Planning Strategist, you will support Relationship Managers, Business Development Officers, and clients in analyzing, communicating, and implementing financial planning strategies for HNW/UHNW clients, while also providing client support to the Wealth Strategies team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial planning analyses, including reviewing financial statements and other data.
  • Gather additional data as necessary and enter data.
  • Evaluate alternative scenarios to respond to client requests and prompt additional planning considerations.
  • Adapt computer-generated output to polished brand format.
  • Review plans with Relationship Managers to confirm they meet expectations.
  • Deliver financial plans to clients and discuss potential planning options.
  • Perform live alternative planning scenarios as appropriate.
  • Triage, prioritize, and manage multiple requests with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Assist individual wealth strategists with Excel and PowerPoint illustrations for clients.
  • Assist in developing additional financial planning models and offerings.
  • Promote the financial planning offering across the firm.

Requirements

  • Experience working with clients to implement financial planning strategies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in eMoney, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with Adobe.
  • Possess a CFP, JD, CPA and/or CTFA designation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively communicating financial planning strategies to HNW/UHNW clients.
  • Ability to take initiative, go above and beyond, and deliver results.
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to investigate complex problems and make sense of information.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.

  • Passion for growing knowledge and a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).
