About the Role
This is a field-based role designed as a structured development pathway for sales, with eligibility to apply for a full Sales Representative position upon successful completion of training and performance objectives. The candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Attend all assigned trainings and complete required training protocols
- Maintain, manage, and track consignment and loaner inventory
- Provide territory case coverage and support surgical procedures
- Prepare and submit required documentation to the District Sales Manager
- Support sales efforts by soliciting orders from current and prospective customers
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities in alignment with direction from the District Sales Manager
- Address customer concerns in accordance with Medtronic CST policies and escalate issues as appropriate
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, trainings, and industry events as directed
- Identify selling opportunities and collaborate with the team to drive growth within assigned accounts
- Ensure compliance with all Medtronic CST policies and procedures
- Maintain flexibility to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences; or Associates Degree AND 2+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical device, Medtech, healthcare or life sciences; or Bachelor’s Degree
- Medical or B2B Sales Experience
- Ability to work in an operating room setting
- Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Driving record will be reviewed and considered as part of the application

- Required to interact with a computer for extended periods of time, and communicate with peers and co-workers
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms
