About the Role

Travelers is seeking an Agile Product Owner to lead a team in delivering capabilities and solutions using agile methodologies. You will act as the voice of the end-user, guiding a smaller-scale team to achieve defined outcomes while managing backlogs and fostering an innovative, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define, prioritize, and maintain a ready backlog of work for a product team.
  • Accept final product output and focus on achieving defined outcomes.
  • Manage deliverables and conduct experimentation to refine future roadmaps.
  • Implement team goals and strategy while ensuring alignment with value stream vision.
  • Articulate goals and strategy to stakeholders, Circle Leads, and team members.
  • Act as the voice of the end-user and ensure work meets acceptance criteria.
  • Make trade-off decisions to maximize value.
  • Set objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for solutions.
  • Inform and participate in business readiness and change management.
  • Provide feedback on work-in-progress and remove roadblocks.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous team and process improvement.
  • Partner with Circle Leads to communicate resource requirements.
  • Share best practices to ensure alignment within the value stream.
  • Foster an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two years of experience in Agile product management.
  • Two years of work experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated Agile mindset and commitment to core values.
  • Ability to influence leaders without traditional hierarchy.
  • Experience with servant leadership principles.
  • Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in cross-functional, multi-team environments.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and team development.

Salary/Compensations

  • $115,900.00 - $165,900.00
