About the Role
Travelers is seeking an Agile Product Owner to lead a team in delivering capabilities and solutions using agile methodologies. You will act as the voice of the end-user, guiding a smaller-scale team to achieve defined outcomes while managing backlogs and fostering an innovative, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and maintain a ready backlog of work for a product team.
- Accept final product output and focus on achieving defined outcomes.
- Manage deliverables and conduct experimentation to refine future roadmaps.
- Implement team goals and strategy while ensuring alignment with value stream vision.
- Articulate goals and strategy to stakeholders, Circle Leads, and team members.
- Act as the voice of the end-user and ensure work meets acceptance criteria.
- Make trade-off decisions to maximize value.
- Set objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for solutions.
- Inform and participate in business readiness and change management.
- Provide feedback on work-in-progress and remove roadblocks.
- Identify opportunities for continuous team and process improvement.
- Partner with Circle Leads to communicate resource requirements.
- Share best practices to ensure alignment within the value stream.
- Foster an innovative, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of experience in Agile product management.
- Two years of work experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated Agile mindset and commitment to core values.
- Ability to influence leaders without traditional hierarchy.
- Experience with servant leadership principles.
- Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Expertise in cross-functional, multi-team environments.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and team development.

Salary/Compensations
- $115,900.00 - $165,900.00
