About the Role
Concert Properties is seeking a talented Resident Services Agent to support their rental office in the GTA. This role provides administrative and rental services for residential properties, reporting directly to the Community Manager or Resident Services Manager.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the ongoing rental of vacant suites, including processing applications, credit checks, and tenancy agreements.
- Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs, including conducting inspections and scheduling with maintenance staff.
- Provide positive customer relations to tenants, handling repair requests and issues.
- Perform supervisory and administrative duties in the absence of the Community Manager when delegated.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers, coordinating their on-site visits.
- Collect rental and other income, perform banking procedures, and assist with collection procedures for late payments and evictions.
- Attend Landlord Tenant Board hearings as necessary.
- Process invoices for payment, order goods and services, and maintain on-site records.
- Administer and participate in fire and life safety operations and procedures.
- Answer telephone and email, file documents, and perform other related office duties.
- Ensure contractor performance meets Concert's standards.
Requirements
- Knowledge of governing legislation including Residential Tenancy Act, Personal Information Protection Act, Building Code, Fire Code, and Occupational Health and Safety.
- Clear criminal record and credit check.
- Ability to work at other rental office locations depending on workloads and staffing when required.
Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Yardi.
- Leadership and coaching abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
