About the Role

Arcus FM is seeking a skilled and reliable Fabric Specialist to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of multi-site clients in North East London. This mobile role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to showcase expertise in various building fabric tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective repairs and maintenance work to a high standard
• Respond to reactive issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain clear documentation using handheld IT systems
• Support customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery

Requirements

• Time-served, hands-on experience in multiple trades (ideally in a fabric maintenance role)
• NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant trade
• A valid UK driver’s licence
• Confidence working independently and in customer-facing environments
• Comfortable using handheld IT equipment for work management and documentation
• Solid knowledge of health & safety standards
• Experience in retail or multi-site maintenance environments
• Patch plastering and rendering
• Carpentry and joinery
• Floor and wall coverings (tiling, vinyl etc)
• Basic plumbing
• Changing locks and fittings
• General fabric repairs
