About the Role
This role offers a regional leadership opportunity at the forefront of strategic excellence within a leading global Animal Health organization. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and commercial leaders, providing critical insights to shape successful outcomes aligned with business objectives and operational requirements for strategic Companion Animal launches.
Responsibilities
- Develop regional and key market alignment in support of priority business drivers.
- Lead localized strategy and the regional roadmap process, encompassing all marketing and sales enablement.
- Activate a regional network of BUDs to ensure engagement, alignment, and execution of actions to achieve regional objectives.
- Organize follow-up and task forces with regional and global teams to ensure successful delivery of aligned objectives.
- Collaborate with the Digital enablement department and regional/local marketing teams to develop customer journeys and omnichannel operational strategies.
- Provide a broad set of adapted marketing assets to support local key launches.
- Partner with regions and local marketers to execute marketing content to differentiate brands.
- Communicate, collaborate, and align actions with key stakeholders within regional commercial organizations on core marketing launch strategies and address local launch and post-launch needs.
- Provide marketing team leadership to ensure successful implementation supporting product launches worldwide.
- Collaborate closely with customer marketing, commercial, digital, and sales enablement to provide impactful launch materials for market implementation.
- Understand platform and product performance, driving iterative change as necessary for measurable results.
- Orchestrate the Business steering process to track implementation of key launches.
- Collaborate with markets and regional management for new product demand requirements.
- Coordinate with supply chain to ensure alignment and prioritization of material availability for market launches.
- Contribute to global annual marketing communications plans and budget planning cycles.
- Collaborate and partner with regions, markets, and customers to gain insights.
- Share learnings with global, local teams, and internal partners.
- Understand and utilize key sources of information.
- Support the development of marketing capabilities within market organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (business administration, marketing, communications, sales management, biology, animal science, or relevant area) from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of broad work experience in marketing (communications, brand, product, channel, operational) and related sales support activities.
- Strong life science, veterinary medicine, animal science, medical marketing, and business experience is highly preferred.
- Business Unit Director or Country Management leadership experience preferred.
- Successful track record to create and implement high-performing campaigns and tactical communication initiatives targeting medical professionals and consumers.
- Proven marketing experience of successful product launches with measured results and clear metrics.
- Demonstrated management of A&P budgets.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with people across multiple time zones, functions, and locations.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Multilingual in leading languages of the region is highly preferred.
Skills
- Digital marketing acumen and experience, especially in lead generation and conversion.
- Excellent ability to manage workflow with regional and local markets.
- Familiarity with the Animal Health industry or related industry, marketing, and commercial operations.
- Managing and executing product and launch communication plans.
- Monitoring performance metrics including revenue, pricing, forecasting, sales cycle, markets, and sales opportunity targets.
- People skills for developing and building strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to challenge and drive the organization towards project success.
