About the Role
Planet is seeking an Onboarding Specialist Working Student to support customer onboarding programs. This role involves assisting with customer onboarding activities, training sessions, communications, and maintaining resources to ensure customers quickly realize value from Planet products. You will collaborate with various internal teams to support onboarding delivery and contribute to a smooth customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Support customer onboarding activities, including scheduling, communications, and follow-ups.
- Assist with the delivery of onboarding sessions and customer training programs.
- Partner with Sales, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Solutions teams to ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
- Maintain and update onboarding resources, guides, and customer-facing materials.
- Support onboarding communications and campaigns to encourage customer engagement and adoption.
- Track onboarding feedback, common customer questions, and support trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Help maintain consistent onboarding workflows and processes.
- Assist with operational coordination for global onboarding activities across customer time zones.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a relevant field.
- Solid communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in customer onboarding, customer education, technical enablement, or customer success.
- Familiarity with APIs, developer tools, or technical products.
- Ability to learn new technical products and workflows quickly.
- Technical aptitude, including comfort navigating technical documentation and troubleshooting common workflow issues.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with customer-facing and technical teams.
- Experience coordinating projects, trainings, meetings, or customer-facing activities through coursework, internships, student organizations, or previous work experience.
