About the Role
Mollie Stone’s Markets is seeking a Part Time Apprentice Meat Clerk for its Grand Central location. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented and adaptable to daily task variations. This role has the potential to become Full Time for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, weigh, and price meat department products for sale.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service.
- Offer product preparation and usage suggestions.
- Work quickly, efficiently, and safely, adhering to safe food handling procedures.
- Assist with unloading and stocking merchandise.
Requirements
- Ability and desire to learn basic product knowledge and meat cooking procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Local candidates only.
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
- May be required to wear Covid-19 related PPE.
