About the Role

As our next BDR, you'll be the engine that starts deals at Nearmap. You'll prospect hard through outbound lead generation and work closely with your Account Executive partners who will close the deal. You'll work inside a vertical squad alongside AEs, CSMs, Marketing, and Product Marketing and you'll be coached directly by our Sales Development Manager. For the right person, the path to Account Executive is clear, real, and earned here.

Requirements

2+ years in BDR, lead gen, inside sales, or account management or a complementary customer service / sales focused role with experience selling a solution
A track record of hitting quota
High-volume outbound cold calling confidence
Salesforce or CRM proficiency
Resilience, organisation, and the drive to own your number
Coachability, competitiveness, and team player attitude
Clear and energetic communication
Ability to see rejection as data, not defeat
Full working rights in Australia

Skills

SaaS or subscription sales experience (bonus)
Aptitude for tech (must)
Salesforce or CRM proficiency
