About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering client-facing services, including setting catering for meetings, ensuring the upkeep of office kitchens and supplies, and providing support with meeting room set-up tasks. As a member of a collaborative Hospitality team, this role maintains clean and orderly kitchen and meeting spaces, promotes a professional and inviting atmosphere, and delivers outstanding support for all meetings and events.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the setup and breakdown of catering stations, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in all service areas.
- Ensure food and beverage items are presented according to catering orders and promptly replenished.
- Assist guests and staff with catering-related requests during events.
- Monitor and maintain coffee machines, including refilling supplies and resolving operational issues.
- Maintain kitchen areas to high health & safety standards.
- Stock supplies such as snacks, coffee machine supplies, beverages, and other kitchen area supplies.
- Order and manage coffee/snacks/supplies and inventory.
- Manage post-event beverage reporting.
- Produce coffee statistics and service log reports.
- Review meeting and event service orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Attend daily team meetings and contribute to event detail discussions.
- Assist with maintaining process documents.
- Set up and reset meeting rooms according to required layouts.
- Ensure rooms are set/reset to original or predetermined layout before and after each meeting.
- Ensure clean and tidy meeting room spaces.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a professional experience for guests and staff.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines with strict attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple requests efficiently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and SharePoint).
- Ability to learn new software programs.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and coordination abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Energetic, adaptable, and solution-oriented.
- Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift items weighing 30 pounds.
