About the Role
This position is created specifically for the 2026 Canada Summer Jobs program, running from June 15, 2026, to August 10, 2026. The role involves assisting the Food and Nutrition Services department with various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Filing, photocopying, scheduling, and general office clerical duties.
- Inspection of equipment and maintenance of MOH & ORCA safety and quality assurance standards.
- Organization of special events.
- Other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Must meet eligibility guidelines for the Canada Summer Jobs program.
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period.
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred.
- Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Successful candidates must provide a complete and current Vulnerable Sector Check or be willing to obtain one.

Work Type
- Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week)
Salary/Compensations
- $17.60/hour (minimum 30 hours up to 37.5 hours/week)
